How is Deadpool in his many series and what is the feel of his series? Is it mainly just for comedy or does it have action or both?

Completely new to this character but have been thinking about giving him a chance.

    Thanks for the help.

@Kallarkz: Dude... If you only knew how much we talked about this... LOL

It's mostly jokes, but since it's a action comic, so far, every issue has it's taste of shooting, slashing, kicking, killing and sometimes, believe it or not, figthing in a meat suit.

Many new readers find it quite pleasing, while some of the old school Deadpool lovers are having a tough time to accept most of the arcs we've seen thus far.

My oppinion? Buy it. You might find yourself laughing from time to time, just don't expect to see the greatest writing and plotting skills in the marvel universe.

    Cya.

It'd be best if you went and got the "DEADPOOL: CLASSIC" trades with Joe Kelly's run before reading the current stuff. Just IMO.

If he does, he will find it hard to like the current ongoing series.

lol, Exactly. The current ongoing is nowhere as good as Joe Kelly's run.

lol im now once again entertaining this idea. Deadpool seems interesting...I'm just afraid his book is one entire joke that has 0 action and no point...

Is he just a court jester who gets smacked around by everything and everyone?

Read Joe Kelly's run. You get action, jokes, and good story-telling.
