I can't stand Deadpool Corps. I bought the first issue and read it, and ever since then I just read them at my LCBS. Every issue is just constant joke after joke after joke, with terrible art. 4 Deadpools is too much for one ongoing book, 5 if you wanna count the dog [wtf?]. Deadpool is a good character in my opinion, but he's best in small doses.
@ShirEPanjshir: yea we know, but it diddnt really last long or turn into anything particularly interesting so hes generally overlooked. and besides were talking future tense here, not past tense.
@arcanineryu: True. On that topic; I myself wouldn't want to see a side-kick with him. Deadpool works best as somewhat of a "lone-wolf". Sure he needs people around him, but nothing lasting, I think it would be to hard on the other person to actually be a side-kick to the wise-cracking Deadpool.
However I would love to see him together with Cable again. Or something of sorts. That was a brilliant relationship. Cable could mostly handle Deadpool 's temper and irrational personality. Can't imagine who else would be able to do something like that. Which is why I'm curious to see what 'll happen with Uncanny X-Force.
But Deadpool having a side-kick who assists Deadpool in fights, follows his insane plans, takes the issues that come with being Deadpool 's friend, etc. and doesn't go completely insane? Plus seeing as how Deadpool's charme is the way he has insane plans that don't seem like real plans but still work out, I'm thinking a side-kick would hinder this.
@ShirEPanjshir: it would hinder him, thats why the sidekick would have to be somewhat of a lone wolf itself. you know i could pretty much tell you the exact specifications that a sidekick would have to have to hang with deadpool thanks to my massive fanfic ive been writeing durring my free time at school, seriouslly its like a fan-novel now. if theres one thing i know its how to make a deadpool sidekick. like did you know that said sidekick would have to be stronger than deadpool? or that the sidekick cant be just like deadpool but rather be more on the quiet side? and most importantlly the sidekick would actually be better off being younger than the average sidekick (it would also require them to be mature for their age).
Ummmmm... The Warlus? He would be a splendid punching bag and a most prospering golden mine of ill mannered jokes and snide remarks for old 'pool XD Same goes for Frog-man and Barakka-pool!

That is some awesome artwork, to bad this could never happen in real life. Not because they are from two separate universes but also because Deadpool hates clowns.
Deadpool's fractured mind is his own sidekick. Plus he has had a few one offs in the past, and I found they just kind of detracted from the DP character.
Boner Real Name: Ronnie Ruthner Powers: Super Speed, Reflective shield body, conduct blasts threw touching any material with marrow in it, swordsmanship. Bio: Ronnie was a deadly swords man from South Africa. Worked as an assassin for various African crime lords. It was during one mission where he was captured by Bastion asking if we wanted to help kill the X-Men and Ronnie said yes. Bastion wanted to make his super strong so he tried to transfer what was left of Selene into his body. However the side effects were quite odd. Yes he had super strong skin and a deadly touch, and well as speed to match his fighting skills, but the mutation itself mutated Ronnie's blood into beer, leaving him always sick, and very very very drunk. Bastion got rid of him by tryin to drown him. But he was later rescued by Deadpool. Deadpool really just takes him around just for kicks and messes with him by dressing him in weird outfits. But his drunken behavior can make him dangerous seeing that Boner really has no stable control over his powers.
