Death's Intentions for Deadpool?

#1 Posted by DEADPOOL (2703 posts) - - Show Bio

So we have Death, she has existed since the big bang, so why did she really take an interest in some random mortal all of a sudden?

On top of that, what's with the green glow when Deadpool's healing factor first kicks in? Does it perhaps have something to do with why she's interested in him?

Well, he was the first and maybe the only mortal that could see her while alive.

I don't think it has that much of a deep meaning. It's just pure and weird love.

You're most likely right, but it might make a good story.

Deadpool has a lot of possibilities for some cool stories that would really develop his character and get passed the "moron with a gun" stage that they have been writing him as. Now whether or not they'll finally tap into the potential and give us a solid arc or two with some character defining moments remains to be seen.

People always want what they can't have, maybe that is his appeal to Lady Death, he's the one person she could never really have

I remember Deadpool saying this when he tried to make Hulk kill him.
