Read Funeral for A Freak and Deadpool/Death Annual, and you'll see that Deadpool is an unstoppable force cursed with life. To many people think it's his healing factor that keeps Deadpool alive....it's not.

Ehh..it's dubious at best. The guy who wrote it was a slacker jackass and tossed in whatever he felt like. Given that Thanos, the cosmic entities of the universe, etc, are taken a lot more serious than before, i doubt it'd hold up.
 
Hell, Deadpool never had memory problems, but they suddenly showed up, and disappeared with writers.
 
Somehow, I doubt the immortality is still in play.

As long as Thanos is alive and immortality then so is Deadpool.
