UPDATE:

Daniel Way then announced that his very long run on Deadpool is coming to an end. “It’s been an incredible ride. It’s the most fun I’ve ever had working on a series, and it’s been cool because I’ve been able to write every type of story with this character. He’s indestructible.” As for what’s next for Way, he said he does have more work on the horizon but couldn’t say what. Alonso added that fans who have been enjoying Way’s run, his next project would be of interest to them.

Marvel's October solicitations are out and the information for Deadpool caught my eye.

No idea but Way's run was in no way, shape or form epic it was TERRIBLE and if it means he's leaving good ridence

I would hate for him to leave. Deadpool so far has been amazing. It's been quite a run though.

His run has been alright. I have a feeling bad Deadpool won't have a place in Marvel NOW.

Maybe Way's reign of terror is over and Deadpool will finally get a decent writter..

I wouldn't say his run was Epic but he had his great moments and bad more great though.

I think the real question now is.....who's replacing him? 
 
It's obvious Joe Kelly isn't going to return, but I'll take any of the people who wrote some pretty good Deadpool stories in the past. Victor Gischler? His run on Deadpool Merc With A Mouth was great. Mike Benson? Suicide Kings was a great Deadpool story. Fred Van Lente? He wrote the only really good Deadpool Team-Up issue (The one with Hercules) and his Taskmaster mini series was awesome. Duane Swierczynski? Wade Wilson's War was really good and he's probably the only writer who actually knows how to use the boxes correctly.....although he's at DC now.

@The Lobster : Duane is also at Valiant comics.  Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the title ended with Way's conclusion.  I guess we'll wait and see.

It's already been confirmed that this is quote "Not the end for Deadpool" unquote.   So that means someone else is taking over the series, or a new series will continue because of Marvel Now. Either way, chance are Daniel Way won't be writing either of them. 

Maybe with Remender rumoured to be going off Uncanny X-Force, Way will replace him.

At last! we waited and waited....now maybe we can get some good Deadpool Comics again...lets just hope the next writer knows what their doing. ;-;

I liked Way's run and will miss it

I am sooooooo glad Way is gone.

Ways run wasnt great but better than a lot I would like to see Garth Ennis take up the task as he did great with the Punisher and he shows humour in the Boys
