    In an email with the Deadpool Bugle, Deadpool: Merc With A Mouth writer Victor Gischler confirmed that this is actually an ongoing series, and not just a miniseries as previously thought:

    "Yes, this is an ongoing series. I'm hoping I can live up to the responsibility of writing such a cool, popular character."
     
    Can you believe it! Two, count them, Two ongoing Deadpool series at the same damn time now!!! Whoooo!

    this is the best thing i have read sence i saw that deadpool was in the wolv movie.tho that joy was followed by utter disappointment

    @MorganaV: From the day it came out it was slated to be an ongoing series, aside from the main one and aside from Suicide Kings which is a mini-series. Last year's solicts for the book from Diamond say it right below the title. Something along the lines of "New On-Going from Marvel!"

    @inferiorego: Ah. Well i'm not really sure what solicts is but ok then. Heh, but if it was said anywhere on the actual comic i wouldn't know, i only get book collections. Easier to manage for me.

    solicts are what Diamond Distribution (The company that distributes ALL comics in North America to retailers) puts out monthly for books coming out a couple months down the line.
