Wade Wilson is a former test subject of the Weapon X program, where he received his regenerative healing factor through the scientific experiments conducted upon him. A prominent enemy, ally and later, member of X-Force. He's famous for breaking the Fourth Wall.

Deadpool has been artificially endowed with a superhuman regenerative healing factor by the Weapon X program that is at times shown to be superior to that of Wolverine's or Sabretooth's. At the time of the gene therapy, Deadpool was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The scientists at Weapon X injected him with a specially engineered serum derived from Wolverine. The serum was calibrated to not only provide him with Wolverine's healing factor but to also account for the presence of the cancer cells in his body. The serum was programmed to produce replacement cells for what the cancer was killing off. As a result, this left his body in a constant state of flux and regeneration. Because of this, Deadpool's healing factor evolved to a point where it made him virtually unkillable. Removal of his powers would cause him to have a cancer relapse, as he himself is aware. As a by-product of his healing factor, he possesses enhanced strength, agility, and reflexes.
Bob is a normal guy in absolutely every way. He is thirty-three, and possesses average (or below average) strength, agility, durability, and intelligence. Bob continues to wear his Hydra uniform despite his "liberation".
Bob "excels" in Stealth, thanks to the classes taught at HYDRA. The classes taught at HYDRA were Tactics of Retreat 101, Advanced Tactics of Surrender, and Hiding Places 301. Due to these classes, Bob is able to avoid danger most of the time.
Althea is a former operative for British Intelligence although her exact abilities have not been covered in detail. She was at times hinted to be the same as Black Widow/Claire Voyant and Golden Girl/Betsy Ross but both origins were dismissed as red herrings. She has been revealed however to have dated Captain America/Steve Rogers in the 1940s. She is old but her exact age has been in question. She has claimed wearing flapper dresses in the 1920s.
Born in Texas, Inez was bullied by her peers. They called her Crazy Inez, and she is still violent towards anyone who calls her that. Thanks to her super strength, she beat the crap out of everyone who bullied her. Her father began to teach her self control, and her fight began to decrease. She became a mercenary when she grew up, and encountered Deadpool many times. She flirted with him, but the two never got a chance to pursue a relationship.
Outlaw has super-human strenght, agility, durability and eyesight. She also is an expert with various firearms.
Domino's mutant powers essentially give her good luck. She can subconsciously and psionically affect the probabilities and make things work in her favor and against others. Mostly, she has used her powers subconsciously, but she has shown the ability to force her powers into working. She is an expert in using firearms and explosives, a highly skilled mutant in the field of martial arts and hand-to-hand combat.
Zero was created 2000 years in the future by the Askas as a prototype for the Ambient-energy Damping Automated peacekeeping Mechanisms (ADAMs). Zero was damaged and found by the mutant tyrant, Stryfe, who opposed the Askani. Stryfe reactivated Zero, leaving it mute and obediante. Zero would become Stryfe's most trusted ally. When Stryfe's armies were defeated, Stryfe and Zero fled, travelling back in time to the late 20th century. Teleportation: Zero is capable to of opening gateways linking to places spacally without having to traverse the space betweeen.
Born in Chicago, Tanya Sealy was an ex-call girl selected by Roxxon Oil Company to partake in a covert operation to retrieve the mystical Serpent Crown. Working alongside with snake-themed villains such as Sidewinder, Anaconda, and Death Adder, Tanya received a cerebral implant that granted her low-level telepathy as well as the ability to manipulate the energy known as darkforce. Now known as Black Mamba, she would combine these abilities to telepathically pluck the image of an opponent's loved one out of their mind and then manifest a darkforce illusion which would lure her opponent in and suffocate them. Black Mamba proved herself to be a dangerous foe, facing off against heroes such as the Thing and Iron Man.
Black Mamba can manipulate darkforce to create illusions based on images she telepathically gleans from her opponents. She also has an implant that allows her to breathe under water.
The character now known as Madcap was once a normal guy. He did normal things. He had a normal job. He had normal friends. He had a normal family. One day, his church group was on a field trip to Bear Mountain when a tanker truck collided with them unexpectedly. He was thrown clear of the bus and landed in a chemical puddle consisting of Compound X07. The truck had been carrying a new nerve agent created by A.I.M. Madcap was taken to a hospital to recover but when he was examined it was discovered he suffered no injuries.
All the other 42 members on the bus, including his kid sister and parents, died that day.
Madcap's faith in a rational universe died that day. He attempted suicide, but found he couldn't die and he didn't feel any pain. He searched for a reason why he had benefited from the accident when everyone else had died. Realizing that there was no reason, no reason for anything, Madcap bought a bubble gun, stole a costume, and set out to help the world realize that nothing has meaning.
Madcap only feels pain under certain conditions and heals from any injury immediately. He can invoke in others a feeling of euphoria that allows they to behave reckless. He needs to make eye contact with people for this to have an effect, so he dress in bright clothing to draw the attention of others. He also uses a "fun gun" which is a child's bubble gun to help draw attention to himself.
