I know a lot of people are looking forward to seeing Deadpool in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." I've seen that some are concerned with how Ryan Reynolds will perform as the Merc With A Mouth. I, personally, am a big fan of Reynolds. I think it'll be interesting to see how he does. There's the talk of a spin-off movie with Deadpool. That could depend on how Reynolds' role is accepted.

The Latino Review recently spoke with Reynolds about Deadpool.

You'll be curious about him. You'll be curious beyond the film, you'll be curious about him. I play Wade Wilson and I play Deadpool, and the character I play as Deadpool, I personally, Fox may differ from me, but I personally don't consider him as Deadpool, I consider him to be what Deadpool becomes. Or the thing Deadpool came from. It doesn't carry on past that.

What about a spin-off?

Ya, I love the character. I've always loved the character. I remember reading one of the Deadpool comic books, and somebody asked Deadpool what he looks like. And he said he looks like a cross between a Shar-Pei and Ryan Reynolds. And I was like, I really, really wanna play this guy at some point. I thought it was pretty cool. It's a guy that knows he's in a comic book. How hard is it to shoot that properly? That's not something they put in Wolverine nor would it belong in that universe.

It sounds like we're looking at more of seeing Wade Wilson in this movie and a little of Deadpool. I'm sure there will be some not happy with that. But what is good about that is while this movie deals with Wolverine's origin, it could also serve as Deadpool's origin as well. That means that if a Deadpool spin-off does get made, we won't have to sit through that part. We can have a movie with non-stop Deadpool action.

This will also give them time to figure out how to make Deadpool talk yellow.

I think Renyolds really understands Deadpool. He's not playing Deadpool in this movie but the man who becomes him. This is a crucial part of Deadpool's psyche, FOr a long time he didn't even go by Wade after the accident. His mask was his new face. He was no longer Wade Wilson, he was only Deadpool.

lol even if I hate it, that part that they seal his mouth. I got to admit that is quite Hilarious to me. Like: "Shut up Wilson!"

But I'm telling you Weapon XI will have his arms chopped off or the blades will be ripped out at the end. They must!

I think he will pull it off really well, I too am a fan of Reynolds, he is funny and sweet but also does ahole really well.. i think he can pull of Wade very well.

I am a little concerned about some of the other stuff i have head, but i think he will do a good job.

I trust Ryan Reynolds he is a fan of the character and he wants to do the charcter justice and make the fans happy. Plus with the movie I kind of figured that were going to see Wade Wilson for most of the movie and towards the end of the movie we will begin to see Deadpool.

Ryan Reynolds role as DP really intrigues me... I think he could pull it off but from some screenshots I have seen with DP in the film... he looks sort of weird

New line cinema wanted to do a solo movie, but they couldnt cause fox was bitchy about him appearing on the origins movie.

i can't really think of anyone else better to play deadpool. i think a lot of people are just going to see wolverine origins just cause it has fan favorites like deadpool, and gambit, but not because of wolvie. i visited the link about deadpool, and i have to say i am pretty disappointed with what they did to the merc with a mouth.it seems the character is more like mimic, and if thats the case, why not just have mimic? and actually have our regular neighborhood deadpool and not some poor movie offshoot character? it seems like they just ruin some decent characters as an excuse to wow the audience with special effects that try to prove how much of a badass wolverine is...well guess what! we all know wolverine is a badass and i think some characters deserve a time in the spotlight. i have a lot of buddies who were really pumped for deadpool, and what the studio did is messed up.

Seriously, is that a hit for the character or the possibility or a successfull movie?
Cause many people around the nets are going to x-men origins:wolvie just because Deadpool has an apperance.

He wants faithful adaptation of Deadpool! YEAH!!!
and judging from what he says it seems like he doesnt consider wolverine origins the normal marvel universe but something else, it means he is disapointed of what they did but oh well if someone was goin to do DP it had to be him.

I am just gonna go see the movie cause of deadpool and gambit.
