Plot Summary
“HEAD TRIP,” PART 4 Things just keep getting more savage in the Savage Land for poor old Wade. Not only does a crack squad of Hydra shock troops want to put the smackdown on our boy Deadpool, but the cavemen want back their god (i.e. the severed-but-still annoying head of the Marvel Zombies Deadpool) and have turned out the troops, spears ready to fly. Even with Ka-Zar’s help, it’s going to be a close one. To make matters worse, “Severed Headpool” can’t keep his teeth to himself. One hungry bite can bring a world of hurt down on top of Deadpool and the luscious Dr. Betty.

I have to say each issue of MWAM gets better and better.
This issue had brilliant banter, hilarious pool-o-vision, great artwork (it's really cleaned up since issue 1) and the cover is just great (I'm still loving the movie poster trend).
I have to admit I didn't give Victor Gischler a fair chance in the beginning but he's won me over. Keep up the good work.

lets start off with the issues cover - cover by arthur suydam and i think its simple yet fantastic. it really does stand out. Once again, the merc with a mouth series continues with laughter, jokes, and action. there is a lot of action between deadpool and the "zombie-dinosaur" and deadpool gets blown up by hydra missiles and SOMEHOW survives. They steal the hydra space ship and head back home. However, its not so easy - the hydra organisation located on the savage land call for another space ship to attack deadpools stolen space ship - comic ends with this scene. Interesting issues to come in the series !

I'm pretty new to deadpool, but so far enjoying every bit of his crazy antics, and Merc with a mouth #4 doesn't really change this feeling at all.
my favorite fact of this issue, is that deadpool finally addresses that hes crazy, i won't tell you how this scene ends, but its pretty awesome.
As for most of this series, its deadpool and Dr. Betty, running from Hydra, excecpt in this issue, AIM is fed up with waiting.
and they now decided that they are going to just bomb deadpool to bits.
Very good read, good amount of action, story and jokes.

To be honest this part is even better than the previous three parts, the artwork is really good.
It keeps getting better day day. This comics is full of action and adventure.
Vector Gischler has done a great job. The penciling and inking of Bong Dazo and Jose Pimentel is just awesome.

Okay Im going to be frank with you. When issue 1 came out I JUST started doing a subscription to Deadpool comics. Thanking god every day that the guys down at the comic shop love me enough to pull each issue out from the shelves each month for me! Before issue 1 I was just collecting old ones like the epic first series of Deadpool. Now each issue of Merc with a mouth have been...meh attempt at art and the story is INTERESTING but not really a grabber. Good idea, poorly executed. And Deadpool's jokes were just kinda TOO childish where Deadpool in this series looks like a dumb mercenary whereas in the other series, a gun toking bad ass. But issue 4 is another story! First I have to put in the EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC cover of Deadpool/Scarface, that was the main thing about this issue for me. The artwork in it is AMAZING, now in this issue we have Deadpool against a zombie T-rex. I have to ask, if zombie Deadpool took a little nibble outta the creature, how in Chuck Norris's name did the bastard look all rotten with its skeleton hanging out?? BIG plot hole for me. Deadpool's wit in this one also kinda became more of the bad ass merc we all loved in the first place! The HYDRA guy's from 3 were hillarious! How they keep getting screwed just makes me in tears of laughter. Whereas A.I.M. sub commander is kinda rubbing me off a little wrong. I mean the guy for the last 2 issues is hitting the sauce abit to much. Giving us his life story abit. Which is just like having Eddie Brock from nowhere in Spider-Man 3 give us his sob story of a life he had. IF he had the same one as the comic version. Overall it was better then 1 and 2 PLUS 3 but only for the epic cover. I'm looking forward for the future of this series and hope to keep reviewing it!
