Could have been better.
I always favored this series more, and it's sad that it's ending. However it's sucks that it ended so quickly because that's the one flaw with this book.....it seemed to rushed.
It's almost like the editors at Marvel told Victor to just end it, and only gave him three issue to do it. Although I have to admit, even though it felt rushed there were still enough great moments to make this book worth the price. One moment that involved Zombie Deadpool at the end that was so bittersweet and ironic that I couldn't help but smile at our character's misfortune.
Also we get three artist on this book, Bong Dazo does a great job as always, Matteo Scalera has done better, but he could have done worse, and....oh my god....what's this... it can't be... Kyle Baker has done artwork that didn't make me puke. I can't believe I just said that...seriously Kyle Baker actually pulled in some gritty looking artwork which made me think, "hey if he continues this kind of artwork for Deadpool MAX, I might actually buy that series".
Overall, it's a fitting ending to the series, but still felt a little too rushed. If the Marvel editors let Victor finish the story at his own pace then this could have been something really cool. Some really cool moments, one involving Zombie Deadpool, and one involving Deadpool becoming what I'll call, The Merc with More than One Mouth.
