Deadpool's South American assassination tango is cut-in by Cable, an ally-to-be who claims that the merc's missions is a lie. The Good There's something refreshing about getting to see Deadpool with the kiddy gloves finally off - - be that with F-Bombs dropping, discussions of futuristic lovemaking or a sidekick having to swim through an identified river of excrement. Complex and intriguing 2
Deadpool: Max is accomplishing what a lot of Deadpool's main continuity adventures are missing: complexity. There is a lot of room for interpretation. "Who's telling the truth? Who's lying?" That's what I keep asking.I really like that Cable is drawn to look like Stephen Lang. The only thing I wish was different about this book would be... it's kind of a book about Bob... and I don't really like Bob that much....

Deadpool Max has its first run in with Cable. Story Deadpool and Agent Bob target a South American child trafficker. However, Cable interrupts everything when he makes his first time visit to Deadpool. Also Bob finds love in all the wrong places.Thoughts -This was a short and well packaged issue. The story ties up well and includes some good laughs. -I'm surprised we're seeing Cable in this series.
