    Frustrating 0

This book tries to achieve a Watchmen-like transcendence of the superhero as a device and reveal that we all pull the strings and Marvel knows that, and comic-writing is thus less about writing comics as art, than it is about pleasing the comic-buying demographic. It also tries to show that Marvel has a sense of humor and can admit its shortcomings (e.g. the quip about Wolverine's power being his popularity), but it fails on all levels due to its lack of focus. It's not a good slasher, because m...

    Dead 3

I do reveal some things in this write-up, but if you are reading this for insight to buy into this series, my advice is: don't, just save your 12 bucks.Wow, so in every other review I rip this series pretty hard. In this we find Deadpool, who is still serious in his conquest to kill the X-men. A problem that I have with this series is there is absolutely no lead up to bigger character fights. It just teevo's forward to a few panels of a super-powered corpse. Magneto is the reference in question ...

    A bit weak... 0

I enjoyed issues 1 & 2 of this new series but issue 3 felt a little.... rushed. It didn't grip me like the first too and just seemed flat and dull. I hope the whole series doesn't go this way and blaze through to the end. It may sound strange but I'd like to see more of the actual killing, I understand there are a ton of people for Deadpool to work through so skipping through is the only way but I feel a little bit more time could have been spent on this. The scene with Wolverine was good as ...

    Getting Better 0

This series has so far been not as good as I had anticipated, but this issue was quite a bit better than the previous 2.This issue continues Deadpools rampage of death on the Marvel Universe. This time his targets ar ethe X-Men and he uses Xavier to bring them all in for him. Whilst this is happening the recently hired Taskmaster is hunting down Deadpool. We also see a fight between Deadpool and Wolverine albeit short. It was also nice to see in this issue recently killed off Daken and Arcade wh...

Deadpool is so EXTREME bro! 1

This is my first Marvel kills series, and it will also be my last.In terms of story, nothing happens in this issue. There is no story to this series, but there is even less story here. This could have been a forgettable two issue series, but nope.Deadpool kills the X-Men. Most of it happens "off screen". Alright. That's pretty much it. No humor really. There are places that it tries to be funny, but it's not.Last issue Taskmaster was hired to kill Deadpool. He shows up in a couple of panels and ...
