Pain Factor: The reality TV game-show so controversial, it's been banned around the world! Among the competitors, a certain "Merc with a Mouth," who's been hired to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a millionaire's son. The trail ended here for Junior, but will it for Deadpool? Not if he has anything to say about it. After all, nothing brings out Wade's competitive streak like cold, hard ca--I mean, justice.

    Synopsis

Deadpool contracts with Mr. Kilgore to find his worthless actor son. Julian Kilgore was last known trying out for a Japanese game show called Pain Factor. It's a hush-hush operation and Deadpool goes in disguised as contestant Master Woo Pin Yeun. His arrival, however secretive, seems to be known by the show's producer, Gene Tell'Abate.

The contestants are introduced and the games begin. Very ridiculous challenges kill off each contestant one by one until it is Deadpool and one other left. They face Baltaar, an enormous man that immediately kills the other contestant. Deadpool quickly kills Baltaar and is awarded $1 million - then immediately ordered to be killed. Deadpool makes light work of his would-be assassins and confronts Gene Tell'Abate. The man is simply Julian Kilgore in disguise.

Deadpool returns to Mr. Kilgore and collects his reward for finding Julian. Deadpool then accuses Mr. Kilgore of being behind the games from the start. Mr. Kilgore admits to sending Deadpool to his son as a way to boost the game show's ratings. Deadpool then collects his game show winnings from Mr. Kilgore.

Dear Reader,So, you read Suicide Kings and decided that you would like to read another Deadpool story penned by one of the writers. What do you know? Games of Death is one such story! It must at least be decent, right? Wrong, sucker. Don't read this book. The premise is promising. Deadpool joins a game show in Japan that is the most deadly competition on the planet. Lots of money is involved. The story should be fun. What we get, however, is a whirlwind story with very, very, very little payoff.F...
