Dramatic Conclusion!
Ok, I lied. There really isn't much in terms of a dramatic conclusion to any Deadpool series, but the comedic gold shines through anyway. Not a must read for people enjoying the "Curse of the Mutants" storyline, but definitely worth the flip for casual readers and lovers of Deadpool alike.
The kookiness of Deadpool shines through in this two-part story arc tie-in, with some of his finer points drug up, but it isn't over the top as some of the rest of the series. Of course you get the mouth that flaps non-stop, but his back and forth with the inner voices is as good as ever, especially when the wounded (by Deadpool's own hands) doctor is involved. Of course, he has to have some sweet action sequences as well, so those are thrown in for good measure.
And what story would be complete without Deadpool bringing a supposed death upon himself? At least not this one! His "death" dream pokes fun at Twilight, and that should be enough to pick up the issue by itself, let alone all of the other "sparkly" goodness (see what I did there?) that comes along with it.
All around, good wholesome fun to be had by all within these pages. Definite pick up for the hardcore and not so huge fans of the Merc with a Mouth alike. I mean, come on....he kills vampires....
