I just thought it was sad that Deadman had no threads in his forum. Now he does.
One of my favorites.
Deadman
Character » Deadman appears in 914 issues.
After being murdered by the League of Assassins during a performance, circus acrobat Boston Brand was turned into a ghost by the Hindu goddess Rama Kushna. Becoming the superhero Deadman, Boston must aid the people he possesses to avoid eternity in Hell.
No love for Deadman?
Whoa! Talk about trippy. Poor Boston Brand is having a panic attack on his grave sensing what's going on throughout the world as the Blackest Night falls across Earth. He even cries out that he doesn't want to come back only to have his body come crashing up out of the ground!
I wonder where his story will lead and what it has to do with the over all Blackest Night storyarc. Deadman is just a character pulled out of left field for a major story, but seems like he could be a good fit for this particular one. It's got me wondering if the same thing will happen to other ghost-type characters, like the Gentleman Ghost.
I love me some Deadman. I looks like with a story in Weekly Comics and Blackest Night he's getting some time in the spotlight.
I love Deadman, but I've been out of the game for a while. Does he have a big role in Blackest Night and is it a good read?
" I love Deadman, but I've been out of the game for a while. Does he have a big role in Blackest Night and is it a good read? "yes and yes, also in blackest night: batman and he appears in the new series brightiest day
the last five years, I don't think so then again that is a long time so maybe.
Brightiest day is a bi-weekly year long series written by Geoff Johns and Peter Tomasi and written by some of DC's best artists. It features Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, Hawkman. Hawkgirl and Deadman
