DC vs Marvel Review
DC vs Marvel is a fantastic premise handled in one of the worst ways possible. I guess this reveals my opinion to an extent but I think I should at least point out that DC vs Marvel is outright the bad. No it's more mediocre than anything, mostly brought down by some really bad bits that obscure the really good bits just because of how outright terrible they are. You see, DC vs Marvel's strength is the fight scenes which show the big two's best face off in epic battles. Alas this is also the comics weak point as all the fights are fan voted turning the whole thing to a pathetic popularity contest. It still could have worked if the match ups were more balanced or if the more one sided fights handled better. Wolverine vs Lobo comes to mind as one of the worst fights, not only does it not make sense to have the two face off (they're on different levels power wise) but the fight is also poorly handled, with the whole thing not even shown. There are some other fights that go down quickly and strangely, but the goods fights are in their defense really good. The plot is...the plot is the sort of thing you'd expect but I don't think that's a bad thing. It's a fun little ride overall and I do recommend it to anyone who can stand the more outlandish battles and their insane winning picks.
