Present- Brainiac continues his assault on the Watchtower, where Superman has discovered that Brainiac's nanobots are stealing Meta-human's powers. The rest of the JLA are forced to retreat to the teleporters and destroy their own head quarters. But no one realises that Aquaman has been left on board trapped.
Furture- Luthor, the Atom and Black Canary continue their search for a weapon that can combat Brainiac. The three break into Brainiac's bottle city collection and seach for the Yellow Power Battery. When they find it Luthor reveals that he will use the Sinestro Corp rings against Brainiac.
