    A Step Through Time

    I didn't even know the comic book companies still had access to this kind of paper.  The feel and the smell took me right back to my childhood.  It's interesting to see the difference in the art style in the first story which has a writer from the 1990s and the second story which is FROM the 1990s.  Let's just say things have really improved.   
     
    The only reason for the lower rating is that the story isn't really my thing.  I'd like to see newer writers take a look at Scarface because he's one of my favorite characters from Batman: The Animated Series and I was sad to see this story fall flat for me.

      I was looking forward to DC Retroactive: Batman - 1990s more than any other Retroactive book (which for the most part have been descent but passable). The main reason for this is I started reading comics in the 90s and it was a lot of Batman books. So like a band covering one of my favourite songs I wanted to know if it would live up to my expectations.
