Infinite scares of how over priced this is.
Comics are expensive. We all understand there are overheads to cover. $6 USD is a lot for this Halloween Anthology. Anthologies have a bad reputation in North American and a comic like this adds to the miss trust. Anthologies strongest strength is that it can show case a lot of talent in small space. Alan Moore is a fan of Anthologies because he believe they help writers to write tighter stories. In this case the big talent deliver, while the smaller names are meh. Because of the lack of consistency of talent anthologies keep their bad rep with books like this.
There are a few stand-outs. Paul Dini maintains his Zatanna fetish and that story is magically painted by Dustin Nguyen. Tony Bedard goes deep to write Aquaman. Peter J. Tomsai tries to leave you "in stitches". Steve Niles opens up Strange Cargo and Dean Ormston's art is still flat looking. John Paul Leon gives live to Steve Seagle's Small Evil (Smallville) story. MArk Waid explores the speed of life and Dan Didio re-images Charle Brown.
The framing story was Meh, normal Rogue gallery in Arkham stuff. The rest of the stories just didn't blow me away.
If you can get this comic cheap, sure, pick it up. Halloween is a great time to great a themed comic. To bad this one is not worth its cover price.
