O.K. I'm just curious. Are there a Green Lantern Trilogy already? I mean, a movie? Just wondering

I'd actually prefer Green Lantern be more than just a trilogy.

Atrocitus, Sinestro, Parallax, Black Hand, and First Lantern if they follow the end of Johns' run.

Sinestro, Black Hand, Star Sapphire, Atrocitus, Krona, Parallax, Tattooed Man, Evil Star, and Hector Hammond.

The last 3 would be interesting just as little small fights he has in the movies to give us a sense of the kind of work he does. The first 6 could take over as the big bad latter in the movies.

Atrocitus as the fist villain, so, as in the same vein as 'Secret Origins', Sinestro is still a GLC member.

Then Sinestro goes renegade, forms the Sinestro Corps, and then we can have a cinematic version of the SCW.

Third movie we see the other corps forming.

Then tie-in movie with the DCU, Blackest Night.

@moul: I actually liked how it happened on Earth. Hal Jordan originally had adventures on Earth as Green Lantern and I'm sure we would've got more space action in the sequel. In my opinion I just thought the script sucked. The Earth scenes were cool because after all sector 2814 is Earth so it made sense. Why not have him protect Earth for the first movie.

The way I think it should happen is don't spend much time on the origin. Give us a quick little 5 minute origin. Kinda like what Hulk had and then proceed with the movie. Show Hal protecting Coast City, show some Ferris, have get called by the Guardians, since Hal would be established already we can see more Lanterns like Guy and John, have a big cosmic villain that needs to be taken care.

@crazyscarecrow: I think people would love see the corps in space. We have a lot of heroes in Earth

I don't know enough about his villains but it would be nice to see at least one of the movies not have him going up against another Lantern Corps.

Yes to all of this. A Justice League movie being based on Blackest Night would be absolutely fantastic (of course they could give the other Leagers more important parts than they had in the comics).

Having the development of Sinestro from Green Lantern to Yellow Lantern, forming his Corps. and seeing the Sinestro Corps. War on screen, followed by the formation of the other Corps.? Amazing. GL3 could be like a prelude to the Blackest Night movie. Really hope this is the route DC take, or one similar.

Atrocitus sinestro black hand and guardians. It's hard to pick which one not to use but I feel those 4 can make the best story. You could throw parallax into the sinestro movie
