We all when it comes to superheroes beings animated, DC comics is the way to go. So why do like DC animation? Movies or TV?

    For me personally I think:

    • They're for comic fans, they choose stories directly from comics but they do occasional good original stories.
    • They're often rather mature or don't shy away from violence or other adult implications
    • They take risks such as The Dark Knight Returns and Flashpoint paradox
    • There is a mixture of animation styles such the 3D animation of Green Lantern: TAS to the Japanese style Teen Titans to the sleek Young Justice

    Anything else?

It's just an overall higher quality of production for the most part too I find. I recently tried watching Marvel's Hulk and Iron Man:Heroes United and couldn't get past the opening 10 minutes. The dialogue was bad, the animation quality was low and the character depictions were just poor IMO... I haven't loved everything DC puts out but I've always enjoyed it.

The dialogue definitely seems more natural. I watched a couple of the 90's Marvel cartoons and later DC and the dialogue seemed a lot more natural. Plus, as you said DC has many different animation styles and from all the animation styles I have seen them do they always turned out nice and easy on the eyes. I don't really know honestly. DC's characters just seem to be natural when placed in animation.

Overall the tone of DC animations fits that of a mature audience, nothing too childish. Art production is that of a higher grate, voice acting is good, superb writing and dialogue, character development relating to certain situations is great, not to mention DC has more constancy with rolling them out.
