just pure hand to hand combat no weapons gadgets or powers just pure martial art skill whos the best. my top 5 are 1 karate kid 2 richard dragon 3 lady shiva 4 batman 5 batgirl (cassandra cain)

Even without it, I'd still say she is. She's been trained since birth to fight.

Actually, reviewing my list, Black Canary and Connor Hawke I'd put above Batman. Batman's a good martial artist, sure, but he's not on the same level as those ones. The difference is that in his city, he knows everything. He plans everything. He has all these gadgets and stuff that put him above them.

But lock them only in their underwear in a blank room, 8/10 Cassandra Cain will win, 10/10 Lady Shiva will win, 8/10 Black Canary will win, and 8/10 Connor Hawke will win.

If I remember correctly, he's Richard Dragon level, who's below Lady Shiva, who's the same as Black Canary, Connor Hawke and Cassandra Cain.

I think Batman's skill plus his drive makes him the bset martial artist. His will and focus is incrediable.

That may be in pure skill, but martial arts is more than that. The better skilled doesn't always mean the better fighter. That's why it' sbelievable that the Batman could stand against the Sensei (who is way above KK) as long as he did.

Karate Kid can't count. He gets better moves then other fighters.

Batman still layed Shiva out, and that wasn't with gadgets and planning, it was with a right cross. Anyway, my list in the order that I see it .

I did not include him because his ability to fight can almost be considered a "power". And even though I did not put the Bat on my list, I know he fought Karate Kid to a standstill, which if taken as canon makes him better than everyone on my list. It is all interpertation, isn't it?

He didn't exactly fight him to a standstill. It was obvious that KK would win soon enough. Batman just played him by making him forget about Black Lightning, who then took him out from the back.
But yeah, bats is one of the best.
