Coast City. At least it doesn't have a sky high crime rate and the police force is actually competent *cough*Gotham*cough*

Ugh wouldn't wanna live there....that place is way too much of a hotbed for GL's nonsense. Cyborg Superman & Mongul, Sinestro Corps War, Blackest Night....

Yeah, the whole Engine City thing and the zombie apocalypse does give Coast city some minus points.
Gorilla City or Sub Diego.
Just kidding, I'd probably pick Fawcett City. It's a big, nice looking city, located by a body of water, that has a classic feel to it.
I second this.
I do like Gotham for its archetecture and I also like cites there have an egde and aren't all nice and pretty. Metropolis appears to be a nice and pretty city but also a bit boring.
Gotham, in that sense, has one hell of an "edge"...I think it has the largest crime rate in the U.S. (DCU of course)
Gotham City. A lot of interesting characters there, great place to have some fun for a chaotic good/neutral guy like me. >:)

well Engine city was really the only big thing exclusive to the city. Blackest Night and Sinestro Corps War were worldwide and had a somewhat decent gap in between.

its also freaking gorgeous. and its supervillains are always screwing around somewhere else. although those shark attacks are a bitch

As far as I know it is Blüdhaven (Nightwing's city).

Oh? I read somewhere that Crime Alley had the highest per capita crime (or homicide, can't remember) rate in the DC-US...but I could be wrong...

Both can be true. That would just mean that Blüdhaven in general has more Crime and that Gotham has areas where there is not so much crime. The two statements can easily both be true.

Fair point...I'm sure DC have it written somewhere.
It would be odd to find out if Gotham/Blüdhaven didn't get the top=spot :O
Gotham City: Love how it always look like it is stuck in 30's/40's, the news would be fun and interesting(tonight the Joker and Scarecrow decided to see what their gases would do when combined together), and if I ever feel like I would like to be a superhero I could always make a costume and go out and more than likely find a Bat family member who will take me in.
Central City: Mainly because it is hinted to be St. Louis and I love my hometown. Also The Flash has to be my favorite hero after Batman and Robin.
Fawcett City: Would be nice. I don't know about you, but seeing Mr. Mind battle Captain Marvel would be pretty fun. Also would feel like a cartoony kinda place.
Themyscira, for obvious reasons... ;P but if i had to pick a human city... i would avoid all the cities with the frigging superheroes.
Central City, cuz the Flash cleans up well and there's less destruction. Plus Flash is a hero I could trust, like Supes
@wisesonac: Dakota is a pretty bad place to live. The gang crime is through the roof.
@blackwind: thats mostly in paris island
