@mpierce2690: Ihope they don't make another Wonder Woman book. If find the multiple books for the same characters annoying, when there are other really good characters that could be used instead, Superman already has 2 books too his name and by all reports is getting another, and batman has 3 solo books already and thats if you dont count batman and robin.
The nice thing about the multiple books angle, is that you can flesh out more popular characters more effectively. For instance, Action Comics is currently showcasing Superman's origins while Superman is more of a present day book. Unfortunately, Detective Comics is more of a "how not to write Batman" and Batman is more of a "how to write Batman" situation right now, so I understand what you mean. Batman: the Dark Knight is a bit excessive considering it'd be better if those writers had just gone to Detective Comics and replaced those writers.
I don't mind the idea of having two books for the main Trinity, but three is probably a bit much. Wonder Woman might be the one that must needs it just because she has one aspect of her identity in Washington, DC being an actual superhero and fighting for equal rights, and then another identity with the Greek Mythology angle. That's why I'd advocate having her own comic line, Sensational Comics.
With that in mind, I'd probably like to see Action Comics become more of a "Superman and his alien, more action-y" book and Superman more of a "Clark Kent and the Daily Planet" book. I'm not sure how I'd differentiate Detective Comics vs. Batman.
