Picked up Darkseid # 1 today and quite enjoying it, but not sure I really "get" having a whole month away from the usual stories. Are people enjoying the villains stories? Which ones are your favourite?

I like it but I hate it that some stories that were expect to sell sucked. Like the Joker issue for example. People buy it cause of a well liked character but it has a mediocre story. Other than that, there are good ones as well and I am enjoying it so far.

Agree. Just using the character isn't enough. Each book should produce a can't miss story, making it an event.

horrible cash grab. random bad stories about villains. should they be connected to forever evil? only 2 are, so far. grodd and black manta.

Have read 3 so far (Darkseid, Cyborg Superman, & Relic) - are they just going to be origin stories? If so, I'm pretty underwhelmed. Also, I can already guess I'm not going to be happy with the changes to origins (CS's is horrendous). (Also if I'm being picky, in Darkseid #1, they spelled Izaya's name Ixaya at one point...I expect a better finished product from professionals)

Its a great idea and a few have been good, but they are so short its tough to gain alot from them.

They're ok, i think with a couple more issues they could've been great. But with only one issue to make a great origin or whatever the story is it's pretty hard.

They've just been ok the ones I have read. None have stood out though I'd say Ie enjoyed the Riddler issue the most so far.

The Cheetah and Braniac are excellent. Who ever did the Riddler should be fired. Absolute money grab crap.

I loved it. The best IMO were the Penguin and Captain Cold issues. Joker, Riddler, Gorilla Grodd, and H'el were all nice.

It's good. It is kinda inevitable. Sooner or later we would get some sort of villain origin story, so I don't know why people are b!%ching.

It has been great so far. Picking up different issues have been nothing short of exciting. I especially liked Black Adam's and Ocean Master's issues.

The Flash villains issues were the best consistently

Cash-saving, at least for me. I didn't buy a single Villain of the Month issue. Just waiting for things to go back to normal. I mean, Forever Evil sounds awesome and the first issue really was, but the idea of these single origin stories doesn't interest me.

I liked most of what I picked up. Riddler, Penguin, Black Manta, were the best and when I think of crape Lobo comes to mind.

About the same as any other month.

Some great books. Some okay books. Some bad books.

I thought it was nice having something different this month, can't say I'm not excited to get back to my normal titles though.

I was anticipating it at first, but only one week in and I was already ready to just read my normal titles again.
