That said; it is a fighting game, it is not supposed to reflect actual comicbook power levels (that wouldn't be any fun if you intend to include Superman or WW, because they can take out most of the opposition without breaking sweat).

@sethysquare: I've learnt that lesson now. A little too late given the movie tie ins I've bought. The only truly good movie tie in game I can think of is Spider-Man 2.

I LOVE THE NAME. SO MUCH. I hate the standard "MARVEL'S yadda yadda yadda," "DC PRESENT blah," so this is a great and refreshing change of pace.

I also like that it's New 52 DC. Plus, you know the video game industry isn't very gender neutral when you get excited that they gave Wonder Woman trousers..

mortal kombat+DC...mmm i remember there was a time i thought that was gonna be good idea....then a certain game ruined that for me :/ but i see now they're using the MK9 engine. so mayb theres a shimmer of hope with this. and i hope all the characters on the disc are unlockable...they better not have them all be DLC >=/

but either way im going to get this game same way i get allllll fighting games.. wait for an "ultimate" or "special" edition to release...you pay $20 cheaper and get bonus content. happens alll the time with these fighting games :p

@NightFang: They arent really using the New 52 costumes. Batman's looks more like a hybrid of The Dark Knight movie costume and his new 52 costume, while Wonder Woman is actually in her pre Flashpoint pants costume. Harley Quinn is also in her Arkham City costume so it looks like they are picking and choosing when it comes to costumes. Superman and Flash's costumes are probably the most New 52 inspired but even those are kinda different with Superman's cape and crest connecting and the Flash having a more armored look.

I love fighting games....I love comics. Mortal Kombat 9 was awesome...I in all the way for this.

This game looks very badass, but I am not keen on the name. Also, getting punched into space should have killed Flash.

@sethysquare: read my post: DC comics has nothing to do with the development of the games. they only give information on the characters. the developers do what they want with that information.
