Tuck your shirt man!
Soz It was an off the cuff remark Lol!

Walkthrough: DC Comics iPhone Reader
First off, Norm needs to tuck nothing. He's a man of action.
Second, I just don't like panel to panel. I understand why they do it (as they explained) but for me the concept and the execution just don't work. I think the only thing that would work for me is on an iPad or some sort of desktop app.
Comics hate PCs...
I'm not much of a Mac user, but getting my hands on an iPad would be sweet in so many levels... including this comic reader app!
I like Whiskey Crossovers!
Question... Jim Lee does some of his art on an iPad nowadays, so why couldn't he sign your iPad during a convention?
I find it so funny on how the background music worked during this video... the transitions were awesome! Who edited the video?
" Tuck your shirt man! "First thing i noticed as well. Good preview look at the app though. I so badly want to get this but I really can't justify getting an iPad for it..... maybe in the future though.
" Tuck your shirt man! "When Norm gets a second he might consider it. He's too busy being awesome.
" @FLStyle said:I don't actually know how much the iPhone 4 is in UKLand. I'll have to look into it. I will pen it down as another potential reason for getting one. Thanks for the vid!" Hint - This was filmed on Friday because Norm is in his Formal Friday attire. Seems cool but I'm still not paying £400 for an iPad. I may be more inclined to buy a iPhone. "You can use it on both the iPad and the iPhone :D "
I can't believe how expensive the iPad is. As much as i want to get one for digital comics at a cheapest of £429 ($650) for the basic one or £699 ($1,060) for the top end one it's WAY too much to warrant.
Personally, I love the thought of comics going digital. It will build the franchise in a totally new way, making books easier for fans to get their hands on and maybe even at least cost than a physical copy. However, there are several things that will make the transission difficult...
For example, and Sara made reference to this, "--you can't go to a convention and have Jim Lee sign it," Now, I don't have an iPad, nor am I apple savy, but in the future, why couldn't he? Sign the comic, I mean? Say they change the app so you can 'write on' the cover of the comic. And there you go. Now your favorite artist / writer can sign the digital copy for you.
Who is the pretty lady talking to Norm? Oh, this isn't tested.com.
I've tried the DC app for iPhone and love it. True, you can't zoom out all the way, but I doubt you could read any of the text if you could. The panel-to-panel method of displaying the pages works fine, IMO.
If the comic gets deleted or your device has a meltdown and loses all your data, I assume that you can simply re-download the issues at no additional cost?
If I got sick deals, a service that will exist for a while so I won't lose my content when they go out of business, and timely updates I would make the switch.
