    read her Batgirl series

    ^ this

She was the 3rd & best batgirl so far, and replacing her with barbara was one of the worst moves DC made when they started the new 52.

Also does anyone know if Cassandra had any contact with batman in the new 52?

@danhimself: I hope that does not mean we will get Stephanie being older than her or Tim for that matter...

New 52 has done some amazing things but it has also done some horrible things 50/50 so far...

Isn't she the 4th, after Bette Kane, Barbra Gordon and Cassandra Cain?

@2cool4fun: from what they've said at NYCC she'll be Spoiler again and they'll probably make it so she was never Batgirl as well...my guess is she'll be around the same age as Tim....but she was a little older than Tim Pre52 anyway seeing as she was in college in her Batgirl series and Tim became an emancipated minor in Red Robin

Bette was never Batgirl in the Post Crisis Pre52 continuity

it went Barbara, Helena (during No Man's Land), Cassandra, then Stephanie

we don't know if anyone took up the mantle while Barbara was paralyzed in the New 52 yet though

I don't know actually, never liked her, I'm glad she won't be Batgirl or Robin in the New 52.

If they their writers are somewhat smart, they will make it so that Cass was batgirl during that time, but gave up the mantle shortly after for some tragic reasons or something like that, and then 6 months later or so Barbara took it up again

It would be awesome if she had her own series as batgirl, i mean it looks like DC needs to feel up so that they have 52 series any way, and they like spamming batman titles so y know, it be better then having Harley Quinn as a comic...
