@justthatkid: I'd really have to disagree, they don't look too much alike. I also don't see how minor changes like that would make a difference. Also why would you want Teth to be Captain Marvel? that makes no sense.

Kinda does wasn't he chosen before Billy by the wizard he also has to say Shazam to get the powers. Cinematically doesn't look correct why have another black haired, blue eyed guy when you could have a red haired guy who appeals to red head. *Wonders* young boy Wally in the audience.

.... Because Billy Batson and Teth Adam are two completely different characters. Also what do you mean another black haired blue eyed hero? other then Superman that's the only one in the DC movies, and I don't think people pay that much attention to eyes.

I think it can be really great. I'd really like to see a mix of hard drama (orphan story) mixed with light-hearted comedy (when a kid turns into Shazam). Geoff Johns backup feature in Justice League would be a perfect origin movie. I also think Patrick Warburton would be great as Captain Marvel.

@cprops: The New 52 version is not the true Captain Marvel, he dose not resemble the character in any way. Also I personally would prefer Jon Hamm, but that's just me.

Also since you seem new, welcome to the Vine.

@captainmarvel4ever: Thanks. I actually couldn't remember my old account, so I created a new....haha (but good to be welcomed). Yeah it is definitely different from his past, but I thought with DC's dramatic-style of movies, it would fit in real nice. Never thought of Jon Hamm; I would really like that too.

@cprops: Yeah but if your going to make a Captain Marvel movie you should really stay true to the character. Heck I think the whole reason DC published this new version of Cap was so that he would fit on film better.
