What DC character would you like to see in Rocksteady Studios game?

They did a great job with Arkham series.I would like to see a Superman,Green Lantern.Flash and Green Arrow.

Green Lantern would be a rpg lik SW KOTOR

For Green Arrow game i would like to see Year One story

Superman is tough to make a game, maybe strip him of his power and as you progress you get some powers back.

and Flash as Flash :D

Well a flash game was in production once (though it wasn't being made by rocksteady), but it was cancelled. There's still some gameplay videos of it on YouTube and it looks mighty impressive. I'd love it of Rocksteady were to revive this project. And I'd LOVE to see them make a superman game, the Man of Steel is long over due for a good game. I'd also like to see a Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, and Static Shock game made by them.

That would defeat the point of making a Superman game.

Yeah but if you start the game with full power superman then it wouldn't be a challenge, his enemis aren't that tough, and you also have to have minions to fill the game.

I would give him speed but not fast as he can be,strenght also, and other powers he would get as game goes on.

i would like for them to make a superman game and superman can have all his powers. idk why people think you got to make superman weaker for him to have a game theres plenty of games of wolverine where he can die, but yet hes supposed to have superior healing powers.

superman can just fight enemies that can hurt him, let him fight brainiacs forces or something.

and i would also like for them to make a wonder woman game.

Nah, the "I AM AN ALL POWERFUL GOD, FEAR MY MIGHTY WRATH YE PUNY SQUISHY MORTALS" has already shown to be an awesome gameplay hook in both Prototype games. You're effectively a demigod in that game. Hell, in Prototype 2, you can become straight up bulletproof. With bullets bouncing off you with enough force to kill enemies and everything. It's one of my favorite ways to kill the last two guys. Even Lego Batman proved Superman is AWESOME at full strength in a video game.

The trick will be gameplay dissonance: Superman won't do ANY of the things a player will do with his powers when let loose. But not allowing the player to do those things just wouldn't be much fun. To remedy this, I'd recommend a tutorial where it teaches you how to use Superman's powers and how to save people, blah blah blah, in a standard run of the mill 'Stop Lex Luthor' mission. Only Lex's plan is revealed to be infecting Superman with traces of specially treated nanite delivered red kryptonite. Say the special blend Lex has made gradually effects Superman's behavior. Lex's plan is merely to watch Superman succumb to the red kryptonite, becoming increasingly violent and abrasive until he destroys his own reputation. After the next tutorial, where it shows you how to use Superman's full powers without restraint, Supes picks up somethings wrong with him, travels to the Fortress, analyzes himself and discovers the infection. Unable to synthesize a cure on short notice, Superman has to try and wait it out while his computer and Superdroids (or whatever they're called) search the universe for a cure. Luthor, suspecting this, sets loose a plan to distract him by throwing Metropolis into mayhem, providing optimal opportunities for crises, crimes, general supervillainy, etc, for Superman to do bad things.

Thus, the player has a choice. They can either go about business as usual as normal Superman, ignoring the red kryptonite entirely, or they can go nuts and do as they please, which is justified WITH the red kryptonite.

Ok good point but prototype does not have super speed and can't fly,but i understand what your trying to say. I would also like see game put not only in metropolis but in gotham and other cities, maybe the whole earth and our galaxy. as for story arc i don't know, maybe death od superman, our worlds at war and New Krypton.

Eh, it has watered down versions of both those powers. You can travel a good few city blocks completely airborne between jumping, gliding, dashing, gliding, dashing, gliding, dashing, and gliding again. I personally thought Superman Returns: The Video Game (while being a horrible game) had great versions of Superman's speed and flight. As for other gameplay, mix it in with above to justify the player's behavior, maybe boast special objectives (like the Assassin's Creed games) to compel players to play like Superman would, throw in some awesome unlockable costumes, like Kingdom Come, Death of Superman, an Action Comics outfit (the new one, with the t-shirt and boots), etc. And as for storylines, say in addition to the red kryptonite, the nanites that dispersed it into Superman also read his genetic structure, which Luthor uses to create a pair of twisted creatures, one a failed clone of Superman (you know who). The other, using DNA from a captured, unknown (to the player) source, said source apparently being able to shapeshift given the adaptability of the DNA, (take a guess, captured, shapeshifting, not from Earth...) combined with Superman's DNA creates a monstrous creature whose only motive is destruction, who only wants to cause Doomsday. So Death of Superman arc, maybe have a bit of inhouse crossover where you play as Arkham City Batman for a bit as he goes around Metropolis at the funeral, trying to figure out a way to stop Doomsday, who passed out from injuries after his battle of Superman. Say Batman realizes he needs to upgrade his suit. Needs to be stronger, faster, better stealth capabilities, and creates an early prototype, but distinctly recognizable version of the Batman Beyond suit. He goes to fight Doomsday, player controls the losing battle, Supes arrives in the nick of time, player takes control back over him to beat down Doomsday.

Superman explains hibernation blah blah blah. Game resumes. Next up: BRAINIAC! Because when it rains, it pours.

... And I'm done ranting for now. Sorry. I tend to get carried away when I start thinking about stuff like this.

I highly doubt Rocksteady would make a Superman game. They love Batman, which is why their games with him are so good. But supposing they love Superman as well, They wouldn't be able to build Metropolis as well as Arkham or Arkham City. For starters, it's HUGE. It'd have to be in order to make Superman's speed and flight seem adequate. Batman can manage in a small environment because he's just a man who only runs at normal speed. You put Superman in that same environment, he'll have cleared out the entire area before you can say guacamole. Partially because of it's larger size, they can't put the same level of detail in it. In Arkham City, EVERYTHING has a purpose. You can't go ten feet without running into a Riddler trophy or challenge. There's shanty's under the bridges, huge graffiti, posters, and advertisements for a larger world, etc. Metropolis, on the other hand, is, by Superman's own admission, a utopia in comparison. Very little graffiti or otherwise lasting landmarks that hints at Superman's villains or world. The best you'd get is the Daily Planet and LexCorp. So at the cost of being bigger, it'd be significantly less detailed. Not to mention they'd have to develop entire systems they haven't even had to think about before.

Like locomotion and civilians, for starters. They'd have to build new systems for NPC's in cars, cars moving, stopping, general traffic, large crowds of civilians so the streets don't seem empty, etc. This is all justified in that both of the Arkham Games take place in abandoned areas. No need to drive around there, and certainly no civilians.

I'd say before they try to tackle a Superman game, let 'em make another Batman game. This time with all of Gotham. That would give them a chance to work with all the problems listed above at a human pace, rather than jumping straight into 'STREAM MASSIVE OPEN WORLD CITY INCLUDING THESE NEW CAR, TRAFFIC, PEOPLE SYSTEMS WE ONLY JUST BUILT WHILE FLYING AT MACH 4 FIVE THOUSAND FEET IN THE AIR 'CAUSE YOUR SUPERMAN YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!' A full Gotham game would let them get all those systems fully functional while limited to Batman's pace.
