I know but everytime I see this thread..I just don't get why anyone bothers posting.This game isn't going to be good.MK hasn't been good since the 90's.The only reason it's one of the best selling franchises is because they make like 3 every generation.They all flop and they still keep making it.

So,I will go play Soul Calibur with Yoda..I don't have to use,I'll just beat the sh#t out of him.BTW Soul Calibur's character models are lightyears ahead of Mortal Kombat...in fact the first Soul Calibur had better character models than MK vs. DC.

give it a chance...it's still in development so i could look a hell of a lot better by the time it's released...and i'm kind of with you on this but i don't think i'm going to like it just because it's a fighting game and i don't think it'll hold my interest so i'm gonna atleast rent it and give it a shot...you never know it could be awesome"

Nintendo doesnt have to be limited to one universe (see marvel or dc for example) what i ment was that Bowser isn't in the same as Pikachu

after seeing the game play... it looks pretty good so far...

I'm personally hoping for the best with this game. I want it to do well because that might convince a decent developer to try and make another DC game like Flash, Green Lantern or Justice League. Justice League Heroes was good, but came out to late for the Xbox and wasn't compatible for the 360. Even now it is, the frame rate is horrible when an enemy is on screen and it doesn't save properly. But I digress.

The game so far looks good to me though, hopefully the gameplay will be great too.

For those worried about the strength difference, the story pretty much is that the worlds start to merge and magic is what is balancing the characters(even supes is affected) i didnt see catwomen coming but am glad they added shang tsung, has anyone seen the gametrailers episode it was on, i think it looks awesome(the part wer superman grabs his opponent and starts running through walls(priceless)

I beg to differ, though it may not have sold as well as SF(mainly because its mostly just popular on the west side of the world, while sf is everywhere) the fact that their was so much controversy helped to influence peopl to buy it, so a lot of the media hype on the violence has translated to success. In fact japan is one of the major sf fanbases,yet why dont they like mk(rhetorical) it may be because their desensitized to violence even compared to the west(some of those animes are really violent and even feature nudity which is then edited in the west to be friendlier) So Japan doesnt need violence in their games.The west is hungry for violence though, and in these areas mk does well. Now mk is one of the tamer games in the violence spectrum,and the thing that keeps people playing over here is they liked the games after playing it. I personally play mk because i enjoy it (sf to), but some people did and probably still play it for the violence, which the news reports get across. Wow i typed more than i wanted to,owell
