I'm not overly familiar with the forum facilities on this site, and if this is the wrong area I apologise.

I stumble across a scientist the other day, he was in the DC Comics, and I can't for the life of me remember his name, nor do I have a picture. This is a question for anyone would would consider themselves a mega buff of all things DC. Are there any scientists you can remember that genetically experimented on children, specifically orphans, and those orphans then became a superhuman team? It was via a page on this site that I can't seem to relocate. Some of this said team reappeared recently I think, which is how I stumbled onto the page, and I think there was a redhaired woman involved who may or may not have killed someone or died herself.

I have searched through most of the pages I could find for red haired women, professors and doctors. I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated!

Unfortunately none of that rings a bell. Thank you for your help though.

Well, you've got the Chief from the Doom Patrol.

That seems to be close to what you're thinking.

Sorry for putting it in the wrong section! He comes close but I think this character is more obscure. It may to vague to ever find him again. I had liked his setup and was interested in using him in a fanfiction but I think it may be a lost cause.

    Thanks anyway!
