By Morality/Alignment
A. Hero(ine)
A character who, in the face of danger and adversity or from a position of weakness, display courage and/or the will for self-sacrifice—that is, heroism—for some greater good of all humanity.
B. Villain(ess)
A cruelly malicious person who is involved in or devoted to wickedness or crime; scoundrel; or a character who constitutes an important evil agency in the plot.
C. Anti-Hero(ine)
A protagonist that lacks the characteristics that would make him a hero (pursues a noble goal, though often employs ignoble means to reach it).
D. Anti-Villain(ess)
An antagonist who isn't purely evil nor entirely unsympathetic (pursues undeniably villainous goals, but employs arguably noble methods to achieve them).
E. It's complicated (the last option/not really recommended to use)
If a character was hard to classify i.e. suitable for two or more categories, you can put him/her in this category but make sure to say what he/she may be. e.g. he/she can be hero or anti-hero.
By Origin
I used Origin rather than power because we have numerous powers but several origins
A. Meta
characters who got their powers by natural selection (according to comics logic), usually their powers rely on physical source(s).
B. Magic
characters who got their powers by abnormal activities mostly by supernatural events, usually their powers rely on sorcery, wizardry, witchery or celestial, divine source(s).
C. Tech
characters who got no superpowers or their powers don't pass the enhancements, rely on gadgetry and technology.
You can classify how many characters you want.
I didn't make this thread on another companies forums but if you want so, feel free to create ones there.
