Giffen in a interview with Newsarama said revealed that he is working on a secret female book.

I am not a big fan of his, but I have wanted a Black Canary book.

Who do you want him to write or not to?

@sealife: It dosen't say if its DC or not. I'm hoping Stargirl gets a book if it's only 12 issues I don't care she would make a nice change from all of the dark brooding heroes in The New 52.

Yes a Stargirl book would be very nice, especially if Lemire wrote it.

@sealife: Lemire's work load is stacked at the moment he has two independents Justice Leauge United and is one of the writers on Futures End.

I could see Tony Bedard doing it now his Supergirl run is finished or Brian Azzarello he is only doing Futures End since his Wonder Woman wrapped up.

I love Brian's Wonder Woman, don't think he would fit Stargirl. Tony Bedard I don't know enough of as I have only read some Supergirl issues.

@sealife: Tony Bedard was great on Supergirl I think he only had 8 issues? But he manged to get her to stop crying about Krypton and move onto the hero she is suppose to be which is impressive considering it was crossing over with Red Lanterns and Doomed.

So if he is able to start of with a positive upbeat character like Stargirl he could have a lot of fun with it.
