I am battling the urge to have the complete run. What is a good point to get into Swamp Thing and The Flash. I'll go back to #1 if that is where I need to.

You can start Swamp Thing with #19, that's where Charles Soule began his run.

@kaijujim: For Swamp Thing, Scott Snider wrote the first 18 issues of the book that culminated in the Rot World story that crossed over with Animal Man. It was a very good story but was dragged on too long and suffered from having the zero month stalling the story. It is great to read straight through though.

Charles Soule took over at issue 19 and has improved the book in my opinion. The first arc was pretty good but it has been consistently picking up momentum.

You could either start at 1,12 (I believe. Whatever issue is the prelude to Rotworld) or 19.

Can't help with Flash. I read and enjoyed the first TPB but haven't had time to read the rest.

Start at 1 at both if you can afford it. Absolutely worth it.

Especially with Flash. Bucelleto/Manapul's run is soooo good.
