Lobo, The Spectre, Aquaman, Azrael, Captain Atom, Atrocitus, Swamp Thing, Green Lantern, Nightwing, Martian Manhunter, Omac, Hawk & Dove (sort of in a Noob-Smoke way like MKD), Captain Comet, Dr.Fate, The Atom (I think it would be interesting to play as), Catwoman, Zatanna, Black Canary, Powergirl, Fire, Ice, Darkseid, Big Barda, Brainiac, Mr. Miracle, Orion. There are some FANTASTIC picks on this list. The Spectre and Swamp Thing especially catch my eye. What would it even be like to play as them? Probably awesome. Also, dig the Kirby picks, the New gods would make perfect material for a fight game onto themselves. Oman and Superman could be unlockables (and I'd throw Kamadi in too).

Ah, the New Gods in non-comic media, a guy can dream.

I would prefer the bat characters to be Batman, Red Hood, Batgirl and Nightwing. 4 of them max.

Honestly, I'd like to see any of the Secret Six involved. I won't go and list all 30 or so, but some (not including those we know).

The most recent game demo revealed 24 total character slots, here's who I think should make the cut...

(And yes, at this moment I DO have a lot of time on my hands. There, I answered everyone's questioning response.)

Keep in mind that in this list I: 1) split the roster of heroes and villains evenly, so there's equal opposition. 2) the male to female ratio is 2 to 1 since the males in this genre still outnumber the females, but still being fair to our feminine fighter fans. 3) try to be as diverse as possible, which means no duplicate power people and no characters that are too similar to each other.

• Superman (Confirmed, seems to be an all-rounder)
• Batman (Confirmed, seems to be a scrapper with good ranged capabilities)
• Wonder Woman (Confirmed, seems to be able to switch up play style on the fly)
• Flash (Confirmed, seems to be a quick and agile pixie type character)
• Green Lantern= Hal Jordan (Arguably the most popular of the GL corps. I see him as more of a defensive character)
• Huntress (Would fill quota as a female scrapper AND member of the Bat family. Not to mention some gun combo capabilities)
• Aquaman (Perhaps an ability to gradually or fully flood the arena with water, giving him an edge over the opponent)
• Cyborg (Fills Teen Titan quota as well as robotic quota. I see him as a heavy hitter with a few techno advantages)
• Starfire (Another Titan favorite, but would be most proficient in ranged combat)
• Swamp Thing (Curve-ball fan favorite, fills quota for plant powered people. Diverse attacks including stretchy limbs, root traps, cactus barbs, etc)
• Hawkman (Essentially DC's barbarian character. A slow and heavy character that relies more on smashing attacks than grapples)
• Zatanna (I see her fighting much like Rose from the SF series. Whether close up or ranged, all her attacks are magic based)
• Solomon Grundy (Confirmed, seems to be a slow but heavy damaging melee character)
• Lex Luthor (Sort of confirmed, via announce trailer. Perhaps an all rounder villain to counter the heroes Superman)
• Harley Quinn (Confirmed, seems to be a chaotic and unpredictable character)
• Captain Cold (Sort of confirmed, via announce trailer. Obviously will focus around slowing down and "freezing" the opponent)
• Joker (Sort of confirmed, via Batcave computer. The dangerous and unpredictable male counterpart to Harley)
• Catwoman (Fan favorite Bat villain. A lot quick slashing combos with a few gadget and whip attacks)
• Deathstroke (Fan favorite Titan villain. The guy pretty much IS a fighting game character already)
• Bane (Bat villain sure to be made more popular by new movie release. A slow and heavy character with power up Venom Pump skill)
• Cheetah (Wonder Woman villain and Legion of Doom mainstay. Heavily melee reliant, I see feral combos and pouncing attacks)
• Parasite (Superman villain and essentially this game's Shang Tsung, in that he would steal attributes and skills from the opponent)
• Sinestro (Main Green Lantern villain. To counter this game's Hal Jordan, I would make his ring attacks more offensive)
• Circe (Wonder Woman villain and second magic using character, I would have her magic focus more around summoning and stat altering)

Now for my pick in Bosses...

• Doomsday= SUB BOSS (The strongest and biggest ass kicker there is, but still just a dumb brute... not enough to make him the main boss)
• Brainiac= MAIN BOSS (A multi-phase epic fight that would include summoning brain-washed fighters and upgrading his base form)
• Lobo= SECRET BOSS (Meet certain requirements and you could fight DC's most elusive but badass bounty hunter)
• Paralax= CHALLENGE BOSS (Netherrealm is notorious for putting challenge modes in their games, this baddie could be the final challenge)
• Spectre= ULTIMATE BOSS (An impossibly hard ultimate challenge, much like Final Fantasy's Ultima monster fights or SF's Shin Akuma on the hardest difficulty)
