hey so i am soon gonna start reading futures end and i heard it ties into earth 2 worlds end. Does anyone have a reading order for them if its true that they do tie in.
As far as I have understood, no, they dont tie in with each other.
Future's End, as I understand it, takes place 5 years in the future of the current DC timeline (Earth 1 and Earth 2). By the time Future's End starts, Worlds End has already been over for several years, but certain events from it are still playing into FE.
World's End takes place on Earth Two in the present. Futures End is five years into Earth-0's future. While the latter references events we resulting from the events of the former, they haven't really crossed over yet. They really are for the most part completely separate reads. However, as I understand it toward the end, I think it's the final issue of each of these series, (As of now there's only four issues left in each one and it hasn't happened yet) the events of both series intertwine or something. I assume someone from Futures End goes back in time to present day just as the Earth Two refugees arrive on Earth-0, and this event alters the timeline so the events of Futures End never happen, and Earth Two survives.
