I'm biased towards Beast Boy because of the Teen Titans cartoon.

Robotman.

Negative Man. He's hilarious, has a really cool, compelling character history, and he looks cool. I also love his powers, the 60 second time limit makes things interesting.

I knew the Chief wouldn't get any votes. Surprising to see Robotman in the lead though. I honestly thought there would be more Beast Boy love.

Have to go with Negative Man. Wrapped in bandages and only allow to let loose for 60 seconds at a time. Loved the Morrison development with Rebis. Think there was so much untapped potential to be explored in stories with the character, and I liked the character perspective when the writer gets this character.

My choice for most intriguing would have to go to Madame Rogue. The original Pateol stories were before my time, but I like the dynamic and tragic end of the cast in the original run. Not your regular spin.

The Teen Titans cartoon demonstrated how powerful and deadly Madame Rogue could be given imagination and drive. Wicked personality.

ElastiGirl and Mento. I like their relationship as a married couple. Also that they adopted beastboy. Until ElastiGirl was killed and Mento became evil.

@sinisteri: Haha I never read the Doom Patrol from Vertigo. I only read a few of the original and the Keith Giffen series before New 52 came about. Negative Man would probably have to be my second favorite though he may be tied with Beast Boy.

I like the Doom Patrol's original ending, but I have a feeling if they didn't die they would've been more popular than the X-Men. X-Men was Marvel's version of the Doom Patrol and around the same time Doom Patrol was getting cancelled so was the X-Men. It was the revival of the X-Men that made them reach new heights in popularity due to the original team not being dead and the new members. Doom Patrol was also revived around the time of the X-Men revival however I believe only Robotman and the Chief were present from the original team and everyone else was new characters.

The Teen Titans cartoon is what got me interested in the Doom Patrol.

Beast Boy. But I would have gone for the original wheelchair smart man (Sorry Professor X), The Chief.

I know nothing about doom patrol, but i know beat boy only because my lil bro watches teen titans cartoon.

Also there's mention of doom patrol in the current forever evil arc and JL arc, so they might make an official return..maybe?

@al_capown: I know Beast Boy has been seen with the Ravagers and the Teen Titans in the New 52 and Chief without his wheelchair is in Ravagers. Robotman has been in the My Greatest Adventures miniseries and figure that many believe to be Mento has made a cameo in Justice League Dark. Negative Man and Elasti Girl has made no appearances yet. I hope this means a Doom Patrol comeback. They have to be my favorite team in all of comics. I also hope they comeback with the original members along with Mento and Beast Boy.

Talking about that is X men based on Doom Patrol a little bit? IIRC the creator of Doom Patrol said something like that once upon a time but i could be wrong.

Yes they are. Doom Patrol came first. Both are teams made up of misfits led by men in wheelchairs who fight teams called Brotherhood of Evil (or in X-men's case, Bortherhood of Evil Mutants).

Negative Man. Great look, cool power set. Hope Doom Patrol gets another ongoing in the near future.
