Martian Manhunter Second in command (he's been in every version of the JLA for a reason)

Zatanna (for magic problems and fishnet goodness)

The Atom (Ray Palmer)

Mary Marvel (the Captain gets to much attention)

Steel (for tech problems)

I'd hold these two in reserve to prevent over use (from a writing perspective) and as I figure they are the most busy and solo-inclined in continuity.

Hyperion? You either have chosen a really obscure character (who I can only find mentioned here and even then is only in a handful of issues. since its a Donna Troy story I'm guessing he's based on the Greek Titan) or you have Marvel's answer to Superman. That's a really powerful team though, and could take on most enemies, good choices.

Prurience, in true villain form, has started an army. I can't say I disagree with any of your choices though. it is interesting to see people's choices. We all seem to pick a Flash as well.

Yeah, Aquaman's the leader. The man rules the goddamn seas. Why couldn't he be adept at leading a bunch of tights? The man's good for PR, as he's the most human and safest looking guy there. I mean, Captain Marvel couldn't lead, because he's just a kid. Demon can't lead, because he's a Demon. No one can hear Question over that mask("Mmmmhhb mm mhhbbbmmm!" "What? What the hell are you saying, Question?!), and Jesse B. Quick is a woman. Really, Aquaman is the best choice.

Leader - Superman (Electric version, blue suit with lightning bolt insignia...)

2IC - ION (Kyle Rayner)

Parallax - (Hal Jorden when fighting for redemption)

John Constantine - (For mystical backup, kyptonions and energy beings seem to have a problem with magic. The constantine from the comics, not the lame ass movie)

Jesse Quick - (standard speedster on team, for those who don't know she also has flight and superstrength powers, not just her speedster powers)

Nightwing - Dark member of the team (for some reason i can see Nightwing and Constantine getting on really well lol)

Jade - energy powers as well as untapped plant powers

Hitman - (Thomas "Tommy" Monaghan) for the fight's that have to ended with a deadly outcome.

Lady Flash - (Christina Alexandrova) for speedster backup when Jesse is unavailable. she maybe a bit borderline, but i'm sure she would be stable working in a JL type environment.

Powergirl - (Kara or Karen Starr) Powerhouse of the team, kryptonion based strength and other powers (sorry, i know power girl from pre crisis on infinite earths, not too sure of her new backstory after the latest crisis)

Supergirl - Kara Zor-El (kryptonion backup for Powergirl and Superman)

that's my team... think it's quite well rounded with everything a JL team needs lol
