I haven't found anyone else who thinks this, but I thought it was obvious, as soon as Marvel said they were focusing on their "Big three". Look at Marvel's "big three" and DC's "big three"
Thor and Wonder Woman are both mythological heroes.
Superman and Captain America are both patriotic heroes. (How many times have you seen Superman next to an American flag?)
Batman and Iron Man are both millionaires who use technology instead of super powers.
Now, look at the changes made to Marvel's heroes when the pronounced them as the "big three". Thor was made into a woman, and Iron Man will be an anti-hero. Wonder Woman was already an empowered female character. Batman is an early example of an anti-hero, and he can still be considered an anti-hero, considering his techniques of scaring the bad guys, and his willingness to sacrifice whatever necessary to stop a villain.
I think this move by Marvel is just them trying to feed off of the popularity of DC's trinity, by creating three characters that play off of each other in a similar way.
Of course, this isn't a bad thing. DC and Marvel copy each other all the time. Well, Thor becoming a woman is a bad thing. Why not use Black Widow or Ms. Marvel or Spider-Woman or something?
(Also, if this has been stated before, I'm sorry. I've looked everywhere and haven't found this stated anywhere else...)
