Originally known as "National Publications", DC is a publisher of comic books featuring iconic characters and teams such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Justice League of America, and the Teen Titans, and is considered the originator of the American superhero genre. DC, along with rival Marvel Comics, is one of the "big two" American comic book publishers. DC Entertainment is a subsidiary of Warner Brothers and its parent company Warner Media.
There's nothing fans love more than being told which new characters are 'major' and 'iconic'. If they didn't, we'd have to do figure things like that out for ourselves.
It so....fake. Marvel has had homosexual relationships for years in multiple universes. DC "coming out" after Obama.
Marvel having northstar get married is okay and not cheap why?
Because Northstar has been gay before some readers were born. Because of the ultimate universe, years ago. Because of how many other homosexual heros that have been portrayed before it was hip to like gay
Apparently, there are rumors circulating that it might be Alan Scott, but considering nobody but hardcore comic nerds know who that is, it would be a pretty boring reveal. Also, Jade???
I don't really care if they make gay characters, but I wish they would make characters gay. When the civil rights movement kicked in, comics created new prominent black characters. They didn't make Jay Garrick an African-American.
