I don't see it as a big deal. It would be a big shake-up for DC for sure. I'm looking forward to it.

There's nothing fans love more than being told which new characters are 'major' and 'iconic'.  If they didn't, we'd have to do figure things like that out for ourselves.

Since it will be an iconic character that still hasn't been introduced and apparently will be make, this means it's Wally West.

@IronBear: He might be in the book that's replacing JLI, not sure what that will be though.

It so....fake. Marvel has had homosexual relationships for years in multiple universes. DC "coming out" after Obama.

Marvel having northstar get married is okay and not cheap why?

Because Northstar has been gay before some readers were born. Because of the ultimate universe, years ago. Because of how many other homosexual heros that have been portrayed before it was hip to like gay

Wouldn't Talia rule out Ra's Al Ghul?

Apparently, there are rumors circulating that it might be Alan Scott, but considering nobody but hardcore comic nerds know who that is, it would be a pretty boring reveal. Also, Jade???

I don't really care if they make gay characters, but I wish they would make characters gay. When the civil rights movement kicked in, comics created new prominent black characters. They didn't make Jay Garrick an African-American.
