What did everyone else think of Issue #0?

personally i loved it, the story of Barry rebuilding himself from the speed force and then coming back to the real world in a bolt of lightning...

it was just damn perfect...

so far this has to be my favorite issue of the year...

frickin' amazing, 10 / 10

I liked it a ton and I'm not even a DC fan. It was a great buildup all the way through for a nice end of the issue. Hope the quality stays at this level (at least).

it was in a issue and i want to add him to the death sub i got. But it never says his name

DC #0 was one of the best comics i've read in a long time.

Barry coming back was the coolest thing EVER!!! Way more excited for Final Crisis.

I believe it's a reference to Frank Miller's 300. Miller portrayed the Greek heroes as misogynist where the Amazons have a bit of feminism in them.

Since I am not best pleased with the initial premis of the story - Barry Allen being the latest in a long line of "dead" characters returning to regular continuity - you will understand if I am less enthusiastic about this issue than you obviously are. Having said that, however, the story and artwork were both good, and the book gave the casual reader just a taste of several other books and characters they might want to check out. Since Barry is back, then why should we believe any characters killed off the so called Final/Ultimate Crisis won't come back at some later date? The spectre of that possibility takes the edge off my anticipation, as I see the work of the original Crisis on Infinite Earths unravelled and cheapened before my very eyes.

a villain of the 60 (or 70?) that was member of the injustice gang, appeared one or a couple of issues and then absorbed the powers of the complete league making him explode.

And well Morrison is the writer, you know how much he likes to reinvent old characters

on a side note: the guy Libra is refering as his god is Darkseid

I never expect a character to stay dead. Barry was a suprise, but then, who thought Bucky would come back, let alone become Captain America? In comicdom, nothing stays the same forever.
