Funny to see this with Marvel's Secret Wars. They sure decided to do similar events around the same time recently. Only difference is that I'm glad DC is doing because I welcome anything from the old DC continuity.

I don't really care that this essentially sounds like "Secret Wars, but bigger!" It means there's still hope that the Pre-52 Universe is still out there somewhere! Pre-52 Superman (though I am like Johns's new run), Wondie, Harley, and the JSA are still out there! Glorious days!

Is anyone else thinking of the price of all the issues from Convergence, and Marvel's Secret War/re-takes etc, and tie in's; going to save up a quite a bit on the side for this.

Also if done right for both Dc and Marvel, IMO it has the potential to be the best load of comics ever etc...

I was somewhat pleasantly surprised not to Watchmen and The Dark Knight Returns here. You know, as much as I'd like to see Dr. Manhattan square off against Red Son Superman. Clash of the alternate universe Cold War superpowers!
