Originally known as "National Publications", DC is a publisher of comic books featuring iconic characters and teams such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, the Justice League of America, and the Teen Titans, and is considered the originator of the American superhero genre. DC, along with rival Marvel Comics, is one of the "big two" American comic book publishers. DC Entertainment is a subsidiary of Warner Brothers and its parent company Warner Media.
So after 5 months of research I'm finally getting familiar with DC Comics. I know the New 52 thing pretty well, but still have no grasp on what Multiversity is. Can someone Elaborate?
This is from one issue but the idea is that each world is another worlds fiction.
The apparent main bads are called the Gentry and one of the theories behind them are they represent multiversal editors striving for modern day grittiness - we will make u like us, sameness, repetitiveness - will we never let you die, we will keep bringing you back.
Someone shared this video on a past thread (I apologise to them because I can't remember which one), and I found it extremely helpful. The video title says Easter Eggs, but it is a great breakdown of Multiversity.
