Superman vs. Superboy
With a battle like this, you know it's going to have a pretty contrived set-up, and it does. One character seems to be able to pull devices and technology out of thin air every few panels. Superboy plays billiards with meteors; and if all that weren't enough, Krypto has to make an appearance.
And yet, despite all that silliness, somehow this story works. Like a lot of the Bronze Age stories, the art and story pacing really hit on almost every panel. It may not be the greatest battle Supes has ever fought, but it is entertaining.
