Dazzler

Alison Blaire is a mutant singer/performer. She can change sound waves to light blasts, which often forces her into reluctant super-heroism. Along with being Longshot's Ex-Wife, she is Mortis' step-sister, and presumed to be Shatterstar's mother. She is currently on Utopia with the X-Men.

Dazzler is gonna have a one shot in May in which she takes on her half sister, Mortis. Granted her post-Excalibur appearances have been a major let down but I'm actually very excited about this one.

There's a "Parental Advisory" on this one. And along with Lois there will also be Dr. Doom, Enchantress and Rogue.

I really don't like that image of Alison.
I love Dazzler and when I first saw that image, I thought it was Mystique.
Her hair looks aweful and her skin looks blue!

I think the skin is blue because she is glowing blue. Anyway, I can live with the cover IF the story's a good one in which she is treated seriously as a heroine and not like a silly piece of fluff. I hear good things about the writer and am really hoping he can turn things around for Alison.

Jim Mcann Interview about the series (clicky click). He Mentions that next year is the 30th anniversary of her solo series and this year is the 30th of her first appearance and how he has more stories planned out for her if Marvel lets him.

@Edamame: Dazzler #1. You can find comic release dates by looking at Marvel.Com's catalogue.

As for where the one-shots are, CATMANEXE already explained that in the other thread. Please ready other Viner's comments.
