    Darwin is a dolphin companion to the SeaQuest and long-time friend of its captain, Nathan Bridger. Darwin is able to speak thanks to a technological device invented by his genius friend Lucas.

    Darwin was rescued by Nathan Bridger and the two have been friends ever since. He came with Nathan when the UEO (United Earth Oceans Organizations) asked him to come back to the Navy and captain the SeaQuest after its previous captain went rogue.

    Darwin has demonstrated telepathic abilities on occasion, but other than that he is your average dolphin, eager to help his friends on the SeaQuest.
