@g_man:
You know, I managed to resist trying the last Disney Infinity. The Marvel characters were a big temptation but I didn't buy in. With Star Wars now in the mix, I find myself wanting to play this again.
But tell me, honestly, is this enough "game" for someone who's a pretty intense gamer? I don't mind playing a game aimed at a younger audience if it's fun. I've played some LEGO games and such. But these Infinity games seem like such a huge investment.
Can you tell me, Tony, would a starter kit be worth it if your kid was grown up and not interested in playing games with you? That's where I am at. My daughter is 19 now. She still plays lots of video games, but she only really plays with her friends now and I barely see her. So if I get this, it'll just be me and it'll be competing with Forza 6 and Gears of War and Mad Max and later in the year Fallout 4 and XCOM2.
Can you help me out with some guidance buddy? Please and Thank You. :)
Same goes for anyone else who's played these games and wants to chime in. I ask Tony because we have a bit in common since we're both dads, we like a lot of the same comics and games and such. But I'll take any opinion I can get.
