    First the Green Lantern Corps protected the universe alone. Then, L.E.G.I.O.N. joined the fight. Now, a new group of intergalactic warriors makes its presence known to Earth. They are the DARKSTARS and one of their number, Ferrin Colos, has been sent to Earth on a mission of grave importance. But not even his superiors are sure he's up to the job! DARKSTARS is firmly established in the heart of the DC Universe, its officers functioning as counterpoints for the Green Lantern Corps.
