Is Darkseid effected by magic?

Define affected. If you mean if he's weak to magic like Superman, no, not at all.

This. Darkseid being affected my magic and top tier class magic users (ie. the powers of Phantom Stranger), is entirely possible and probable. However, Darkseid doesn't have a weakness against magic. I think the only thing that acts as his kryptonite is something called radion (however you spell it).

Correct, it's like his "kryptonite." Darkseid is also immune to psionics.
